Max-Gerd Retzlaff will talk a bit about his current programming for his PhD research[1] in Computer Graphics. Topics include preprocessing of noisy point clouds from a custom-built laser scanner, parsing binary data, coordinate transformations, drift detection using the bisection method, interpolation of scan lines (with Alpha Catmull Rom splines), and his matrix library struct matrices[2].
